Olympique Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew has intensified his training in his quest to regain full-fitness after being sidelined for six weeks.
The Ghana international worked with fitness coach Frédéric Faure on Thursday and later joined his teammates at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus training ground.
He returned to the pitch on Monday but was involved in low running which was supervised by Faure.
The 24-year-old is making progress and could return to the pitch by the end of the month.
Ayew underwent surgery on 25 November last year after picking up a knee injury during the return leg of the 2014 FIFA World Cup final play-off return leg against Egypt in Cairo.
Marseille are expecting him to be ready for action early next month.
