MARSEILLE - Umpteenth long-term injury for former Arsenal player DIABY

Published on: 24 October 2016

Through a medical note reported on their official website, Olympique Marseille announced former French 30-year old international defensive midfielder Abou Diaby underwent surgery last Thursday. As issued, "given the persistence of pain and the inability to train normally, the medical staff decided the need for surgery". Abou Diaby underwent transplantation and posterior tibial ligament stabilizing the ankle. The surgery was performed by Calder M.D., in London, who followed the case from the beginning.
A 4 months-long absence has been estimated for the player. Olympique de Marseille "wish a speedy recovery to Diaby, and hope to see as soon as possible on the pitch".
