Mas-Ud Dramani has backed Augustine Evans Adotey to lead Ghana’s female U17 team to win the 2014 FIFA U17 World Cup in Costa Rica.

The Black Maidens have advanced to the quarter-finals after beating European Queens Germany 1-0 on Tuesday.

The Ghanaian side are determined to go a step further at the World stage after finishing third in Azerbaijan two years ago.

Kotoko coach Mas Ud-Dramani is optimistic his former number two man can guide the team to clinch the ultimate.

“He (Adotey) has done well with this team and can lead them all the way,” he said

“I believe in his ability to lead these crop of talented players to win the title.

“Adotey was me in Azerbaijan two years ago and I believe he has learnt a lot as a coach.”

Ghana will take on Canada in their last group game.
