Aduana Stars

Aduana stars defeated King Faisal 1-0 in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday afternoon.

Experienced midfielder Emmanuel Akuoko scored late in the first half to hand a precious win to the Fire Club.

The build-up to this clash had been tensed after an Aduana Stars official said they cannot guarantee the safety of King Faisal chief Alhaji with calling for extra security.

The game had to be put on hold for the first five minutes of the first-half as Faisal keeper needed medical attention after he suffer a muscle injury.

Both Aduana and Faisal created opportunities but none made them count until first-half added-time when Emmanuel Akuoko scored first for Aduana.
