Hearts of Oak compounded the problems of Ashanti Gold with a smash and grab performance to leave Obuasi with all three points thanks to a scintillating finish from Paul Acquah.

The Phobians all of a sudden look like a side with a lot of goals in them after the 4-2 victory over Bechem United, coach Frank Nuttal was looking for his first back to back victory of the season.

He named man-of the match in the Bechem United game Winful Cobbinah in the middle of the part with skipper Thomas Abbey being flanked by the ever impressive Fatau Mohammed and Otoo.

AshGold are enduring their worse season in the last three years and were desperate to get something out of the game.

Emmanuel Osei Baffoe who is one of the bright spot of the Miners starting the game on fire and sent in good crosses but that was all they were, good crosses.

Cobbinah and Nimo combines but Cosmos Dauda who scored his first goal of the season against Bechem United could not connect properly.

Shafui Mumuni was the next player for AshGold to have a go at the Hearts of Oak team but it was too weak and very feeble.

Hearts of Oak clearly were the team on top and their Head coach Frak Nuttal was urging them to pass the ball instead of shooting long and wide.

There was a clear penalty shout for the Phobians on the 65 minute but the referee on the day decided to wave it on, but five minutes after that Paul Acquah pinched in an unstoppable strike to give the phobians the lead.

AshGold tried everything possible to get back on scoring terms but the away side held on to take all three points on the day.
