Bechem United maintained their winning run in the Ghana Premier League posting a slender 1-0 win over Liberty Professionals at the Gyeabbour Park in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Hamza Mohammed scored from a 79th minute effort to nick all the three points at stake for the Hunters before home fans.
Vincenzo Annese's men piled the pressure on the visitors with Ahmed Toure, Yaw Arnol and Lawrence Osei all coming close but were denied by the visitors defence marshaled by Samuel Sarfo.
But the Liberty defence was sporadic and had no answers when Hamza smashed the winner 11 minutes before.
This means Bechem have climbed out of the relegation zone and have moved within the top four.
