Ten-man Sekondi Hasaacas side nicked a vital away point after holding Bechem United to a 1-1 stalemate at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

Abdenego Tetteh struck the opener for Manuel Zaccarius side with a fabulous 13th minute penalty before home fans.

But substitute Eric Adu Poku connected home an Emmanuel Ankobeah free-kick in the 80th minute to end the game in a stalemate.

The 25-year-old's last goal at the Gyeabour Park was a brace against Wa All Stars and zeal to add to his tally in the season urged him to grab the opening goal after ghosting through the Hasmal defence and connecting home.

Kinsgley Adjei fouled Abednego Tetteh inside the box. Referee Uriah Glah signaled for penalty and Abednego stepped up and fired beyond Michael Abu for his third goal of the season.

Yussif Basigi's men tried to stage a strong comeback with Eric Bekoe and Prince Papa-Arko being the outstanding players on the afternoon.

Hasaacas's persistence to level the scoring paid off in 68 minutes. The young attacking midfielder stormed the Bechem box to connect home a brilliant corner kick from Emmanuel Ankobeah to peck the scoring, leaving the home side distraught.
