Match Report: Bechen United vs Inter Allies

An impressive Inter Allies side managed to squeeze out a point from Bechem United after holding them to a 1-1 stalemate in a Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Sadat Karim shot the visitors in front on the 3rd minute mark but in-form striker Augustine Okran cancelled his strike out in the 57th minute of the game.

Allies' recent streak of impressive runs perpetuated at the Gyeabour Park as they established a clear dominance over Bechem United at the own backyard, stretching their unbeaten run to 9 games in all competitions.

The Tema-based side had won three and drew two of their last five games. Bechem had four of their regular starters ruled out with injury and suspension.

Allies made an early intent as Sadat Karim danced through the hosts defence and beautifully finish off in the 3rd minute to hand them the lead.

Bechem created a string of fine scorable chances but Patrick Opoku, Noah Nartey and Augustine Okran all missed.

However after the break, they came on level terms. Bismark Okran skilfully positioned himself well before sending a good shot beyond the reach of the Allies keeper.

Tala N'Diaye could have won the game for Allies in the later stages of the clash but his last-gasp strike missed the post narrowly.

Aduana Stars' defeat at AshGold and Dwarfs' stalemate in Kumasi against King Faisal means there is no pressure from below but they still remain two points behind King Faisal (13th)
