Match Report: Berekum Chelsea 1-0 Aduana Stars - Asiwome Fumador lone strike claim victory for Blues
Berekum Chelsea defeated Aduana Stars

Berekum Chelsea nicked a narrow 1-0 win over regional rivals Aduana Stars at the Golden City Park in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Striker Asiwome Fumador struck the only goal of the game midway through the second-half to claim victory for Solomon Ojo's side.

This was a game Aduana had to play without influential duo Godfred Saka and Yahaya Mohammed

Yahaya conspicuously missed out of Cioaba Aristica's side due to sickness.

The opening halve ended in a stalemate but the second-half proved difficult for Aduana as they were forced to effect two changes in their goalkeeping department.

Stephen Adams could not continue after the interval due to injury, leaving assistant goalkeeper Celestine Damptey the only option to replace him.

But Aristica was thrown into some real dilemma when Damptey also suffered an injury and had to be replaced by Wahab Adams - an outfit player.

Aduana pressed to get the equaliser but they equally had worries over the presence of Saddick Addams in the hosts strikeforce.
