Berekum Chelsea inflicted a 1-0 win over Hearts of Oak in week 9 of the Ghana Premier League at the Berekum Golden City Park on Sunday.

The Blues opened their account in the game in the 2st minute after the away defence failed to pick his run of Stephen Sarfo.

Hearts piled pressure on the home in search of a leveller but goalkeeper John Moosi stood firm with plethora of saves.

In the 73rd minute, Hearts thought they have found the equalizer after skipper Thomas Abbey was set free by Samudeen Ibrahim's through pass but he lost his nerve as he blasted his shot wayward.

Berekum Chelsea maintain their 4th position on the log after match day 9 with 17 points.
