New Edubiase

New Edubiase United managed a slim 1-0 win over Liberty Professionals at the Gyamfi's Park in Bekwai in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday afternoon.

Edubiase United took the lead when Bismark Idan brutally forced an effort home from inside of the box in the 14th minute.

The Movers could have double their lead in the 38th minute but Fuseini Nuhu had his penalty saved by Liberty keeper Stephen Kwaku.

Fuseini's twin brother Alhassan won a penalty for Edubiase after he was fouled inside the box but when he stepped up to try and snatch his 5th goal of the season and double his side's lead, he was denied by the Liberty keeper.

Liberty, who had beaten Kotoko prior to their trip to Bekwai, were hoping for an impressive results against Edubiase but returned empty-handed as the Movers took all three points at stake.
