Bolga All Stars were held to 1-1 stalemate by Liberty Professionals in week 11 of the Ghana Premier League at the Tamale Utrecht Park on Sunday.
Liberty Professionals showed intent in the early minutes of the game as they controlled possession but could not break down the home side defence.
The second half commenced in the same vein as the first stanza as the home side were forced to defend deep into their half.
Noah Neequaye broke the deadlock in the 60th minute to give Bolga All Stars the advantage but the lead did not last as Bernard Arthur quickly restored parity in the 62nd minute.
All Stars failed to push on and endured a nervy finish, with goalkeeper Sulemana making a smart save from Bernard Arthur with five minutes remaining.
