Wa All Stars made it two consecutive wins after beating new entrants Bolga All Stars 3-1 in Tamale on Wednesday in a delayed fixture.
The defending champions made light work of the newboys with a brace coming from midfielder David Abagna.
His first was registered after 56 minutes before striker Richard Arthur added the second on the hour mark.
But the home side pulled one back through Maxwell Frimpong in the 64th minute and in the closing stages Abanga scored his personal second.
Wa All Star have now moved to sixth-place on the table with seven points but have an outstanding home match against WAFA.
