Dreams FC perpetuated their winning run in the Ghana Premier League after posting a convincing 2-0 win over Aduana Stars at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu on Wednesday afternoon.

New sensation Michael Sarpong scored both goals at either halves to announce his presence on the Ghanaian top-flight.

The end results was another heartbreak for Cioaba Aristica and his Aduana Stars side who have picked just a point from available six.

Dreams head coach C K Akunnor named experienced trio Philemon McCarthy, Abeiku Ainooson and Eric Gawu in his starting line up for the clash.

Gawu, who scored from an impressive solo effort in the narrow win over Liberty Professionals threatened the Aduana area in the opening half.

Winger Zakaria Mumuni heralded a string of early minute attacks by Aduana but failed to get beyond Abeiku Ainooson and the Asante Kotoko loanee tamed him.

Eric Gawu, Aaron Amoah and Godfred Asante combined well in an eye-catching display but Joseph Addo reacted with a string of beautiful reflex effort.

The former Ghana U17 custodian was called to duty in the 18th minute when he reacted to a Michael Sarpong effort. The ramifications was a halt in hostilities as the goalie needed medical attention.

Dreams kept piling the pressure on the visitors as Eli Keke darted a fierce free-kick at goal. Addo tipped it over for corner.

Play was briefly halted in the 35th minute as home fans angrily protested against a refereeing decision which went against their favour.

Dreams kept Aduana at bay and the pressure told. Youngster Michael Sarpong ghosted into the area, sneaking in to apply a strong header to an Abdul Bashiru free-kick for his maiden goal on the Ghanaian top-flight.

Aduana came close to pulling even but Godfred Saka's free-kick tested the strength of McCarthy's crossbar.

Michael Sarpong dazzled a couple of Aduana defenders and hammered home from inside the box to register his second goal of the afternoon after the visitors defence failed to deal with a corner kick from the right.
