Match Report: Great Olympics 0-1 Liberty Pros.- Dade Boys stunned at home by Michael Ampadu's lone strike

Published on: 25 June 2017

Great Olympics were pipped 1-0 by Liberty Professionals in week 19 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Dade Boys dominated proceedings as usual under coach Tom Strand right from the blast of referee Reginald Lathbridge whistle but were limited to just that by the steel defense of the visitors marshalled by Samuel Sarfo.

But it was the Scientific Soccer lads who could have opened the scoring after defender Simon Zibo's cracking shot crushed the upright.

It was not long enough as they broke the deadlock by Michael Ampadu on the 40th minute mark from a goal-mouth melee strike.

Ampadu's first half strike proved to be the winner for the away side as Olympics struggle to win games at home continues.
