Veteran striker Godwin Attram inspired Accra Great Olympics to a memorable victory over Bechem United as they claimed a 2-1 verdict at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.Â
Attram raced the host into the lead with a beautiful patent finish in the 5th minute to send the 550 home fans present at the 40,000 capacity seater stadium into happy mood.
But a moment of brilliance inspired by former Lierse SK midfielder Cofie Bekoe saw midfielder Issah Adamu level the scoring for the visitors just a minute into the second department.
Late drama ensued when Olympics midfielder Francis Mantey was fouled inside the box and referee Ali Alhassan pointed to the spot.
