Great Olympics revived their slim hopes of beating the drop with a 4-2 win over Bolga All Stars in Week 27 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

The Wonder Club, who are in grave danger of making analogy return to the second tier League, needed to collect maximum points against the already relegated Bolga All Stars.

Olympics had a dream start to the encounter when on-loan Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Boateng put them ahead in the 11th minute with a sublime strike from close angle.

All Stars could not match the fire power of the hosts as they were forced into conceding the second goal of the afternoon in the 18th minute when acquah tripped David Opoku in the 18-yard box. Referee Samuel Mordey did not hesitate to pint to the spot kick, which Maxwell Quaye duly converted.

Ibrahim Giyasu reduced the deficit for the beleaguered visitors with a fine strike in the 43rd minute.

Maxwell Quaye registered his second goal of the afternoon with a delicate strike in the 61st minute, which effectively killed off any idea of a comeback.

The Dade Boys were not done there as they added their fourth of the afternoon in the 86th minute through substitute midfielder Kaplaka Guantohou before Mohammed Naheem quickly pulled one back a minute later to end the match 4-2 in favour of Olympics.

Despite the win, Olympics remain in 15th position with 30 point, three points adrift of safety with three matches to end the season.
