Match Report: Liberty 2-1 Inter Allies- Scientific Soccer Lads beat weakened Allies side
Liberty

Liberty professionals made amends for first premier league game defeat with a 2-1 win over Inter Allies at the Karl Reindorf in Dansoman on Sunday.

Cephas Doku and and highly rated Latif Blessing scored for Liberty within 12 minutes of first half before substitute Frederick Boateng got the consolation for visitors 12 minutes after recess.

The scientific soccer lads were huge favorites to get their season back on track at the expense of Allies and they did just that.

Inter Allies goalkeeper made a real mess of a cross from Cephas Doku to gift Liberty opening goal before Latif Blessing struck a free kick into the net to double the lead.

Liberty held onto the lead until the 57th minute when substitute Frederik Boateng headed home to set a nervy 33 minutes.

The result mean both teams have three points each after Match Day two.

Allies will host Dreams FC in Tema on week three while Liberty make a long trip to WA to trade tackles with All Stars.
