Free kick expert Kwesi Donsu produced another masterful set-piece for Medeama in their 1-0 win over Liberty Professionals in the Ghanaian top-flight on Wednesday.

Donsu, 23, scored his 7th free kick this season with another fabolous rocket from 25-yards to complete a Premier League double against the scientific soccer lads.

The home side enjoyed the chunk of possession in the game but was really the second half that the game sparked into gear.

The Yellow and Mauve came close on several occasions but were denied by a resolute Liberty defence.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man, and midfield maestro Kwesi Donsu elected himself for a free kick from 25 yards.

The former Kotoko reject produced another scintillating free kick which went into the net to hand the home side the precious win.

The win has lifted Medeama to third on the table with a game in hand.

Medeama have lost just once at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park, winning 13 and drawing twice.

The win will serve as real boost to the side ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup tie against Young Africans on Tuesday July 26 in Sekondi.

The two-time Ghanaian FA Cup holders are not out of the woods yet as they require a win badly against the Tanzanian champions to restore hope.
