Match Report: Mohammed Razir early strike helps Lions to victory over ten-man Edubiase
Heart of Lions beat New Edubiase United FC

Heart of Lions recorded a narrow 1-0 win over a ten-man New Edubiase United side at the Kpando Park in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The midfielder scored his first goal of the season with a 13th minute strike and the visitors could not come back into the game again.

Striker Bismark Idan was sent off in the 55th minute, reducing Edubiase's bite in attack but Lions failed to advantage to double their lead.

The victory has lifted Lions back to third and just a point within the reach of second-placed Hearts of Oak.
