Hasaacas though had a penalty appeal waved away by referee Awal Mohammed. Annan appeared to have fouled speedy winger Ebo Duncan while tipping the ball away in the box but referee adjudged it to be corner kick.

Hasmal finally took the lead through Samuel Afful in the 74th minute. Eric Bekoe and Ebo Duncan combined well to set up Afful with the latter beating Annan. But  Amos Frimpong for the umpteenth time this season scored a penalty two minutes later to cancel out the lead.

Both teams went in search for the winning goal with kotoko having most of the ball. But none were able to find it as the referee brought proceedings to an end.

The result meant Kotoko remain unchanged on the table, fourth, however now four points adrift of league leaders All Stars. Hasaacas also still find themeslves in the relegation zone.
