Techiman City FC came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Ashanti Gold SC at the Nana Ameyaw Park on Wednesday to keep their unbeaten home record intact before the first round of the Ghana Premier League ends.

The visitors took the lead very early in the game through former New Edubiase Utd forward Fuseini Nuhu.

Left back Tijani Joshua assisted the goal.

Ashanti Gold SC continued to dominate the first half but couldn't add the second before the halftime whistle.

Techiman City FC came in very strongly in the second 45 minutes to draw level via an Ebenezer Agyapong goal.

Techiman City FC pushed so hard for the match winner but all their efforts proved futile.

Ashanti Gold SC have drawn all of their last five matches in the premiership this season.

They host West Africa Football Academy on Sunday.

Techiman City FC travel to Kumasi to face Asante Kotoko in a crucial test this Sunday.
