Tema Youth inflicted a 2-1 victory over Great Olympics in week 13 of the Ghana Premier League at the Tema Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

The Harbour Boys commenced the game in a great fashion as they mounted immerse pressure on the Dade lads.

The home got the reward for their high intensity display as Malik Antiri opened the scoring in the 11th minute following a defense splitting pass from Joseph Paintsil.

A late challenge on Bernardinho Tetteh in the 34th minute was whistled for a penalty in favour of Olympics by referee Reginald Lathbridge, which was duly buried by striker Abel Manomey to level the scores.

Coach Nii Odoom’s side dominated play in the second stanza and eventually restored their lead when midfielder James Akaminko curled a long drive into the left upright to send the home crowd into frenzy mood.

Olympics mounted enormous pressure on the home as they tried to level the score line but the young Harbour Boys defense stood firm to challenge as they held to record a first win in six outings.
