AshantiGold SC suffered their fourth defeat of the ongoing Ghana Premier League when they loss 2-4 to Bechem United at the Obuasi Len-Clay Stadium on Sunday.
Striker Ahmed Toure put the visitors ahead in the 17th minute when Alfred Nelson's powerful header had hit the goal post, and the rebound ball fell kindly to the dangerous striker who blasted home the first goal.
The Miners probed for an equalizer but were dealt a big blow when Akoto Danso doubled the lead for the visitors against the round of play in the 33rd minute. Joshua Tijani reduced the deficit for AshantiGold in the 59th minute following a defensive mishap from the away side.
The pressure from the home side paid off when striker Kofi Owusu levelled the score line for AshantiGold in the 73th minute following a through pass from Emmanuel Osei Baffour. Striker Toure got the third goal for the away side before Alfred Nelson's goal sealed the win for Bechem United to record their second away win of the season.
