Inter Allies returned to winning ways when they defeated Tema Youth 1-0 in week 8 of the Ghana Premier League at the El-Eak Stadium on Monday.

The Harbour City boys came out more determined to level the score line after the recces but the home side’s defense stood resolute.
The home could have doubled the score line in the 71st minute but striker Frederick Boateng blasted his shot into the sky after he had been put through by midfielder Isaac Twum.
Tema Youth probed and piled pressure on the home side in the dying embers as they searched for the equalizer but could not break the stubborn Inter Allies defense as they held on to record their third win of the season.
The win elevates Inter Allies from 15th to 12th position with 12 points after match day 8.
