Black Stars deputy Coach has hailed the quality of talents in the Ghana league after AshGold football club won their first league title in 19 years.

Konadu, lead Kotoko to win the Ghana league in grand style in the year 2012 before taking up the post to become deputy head Coach of Ghana’s national team.

The former Olympian made time to watch the penultimate game of the season which involved Great Olympics and AshGold at the Accra Sports Stadium

And says he is of no doubt there is enormous talent and quality in the Ghana league.

“Yes, there are a lot of quality players in the league even from the game we have seen today,” Konadu told Citi-sports

“The only challenge is that most of them are not in one place but for quality we have them in the league.”

“The issue of spectatorship is a problem of Africa not only Ghana but I guess it would improve as we go on.”

The former Wa All Stars and Asante Kotoko Coach has seen his stock rise after guiding Ghana to secure qualification for the Africa cup of nations in Equatorial Guinea before the arrival of Avram Grant.
