Medeama midfielder Malik Akowuah says he will jump at the opportunity of playing for TP Mazembe.

The Ravens have been strongly linked with a move for the 26-year-old even though no official bid has been tabled.

The former Ashantigold intelligent enforcer has been perhaps the most influential player at the club this season with impressive displays.

He says he will join the Congolese giants if his club accepts an offer for his services.

"I’m ready to join TP Mazembe and I pray that the negotiations with my bosses work out well," he said

"TP Mazembe are a big club in Africa and their officials spoke to me after our game against them.

"It is every player’s dream to move on so if this chance has come I will take it. Also, it will help my club to raise funds.

"It is not about the financial situation facing the club and I don’t also have any problem with management. I love Medeama but I just want to take this great opportunity to make progress in my career.”
