Medeama have reached an agreement with Aduana Stars for defender Godfred Saka, Ghanasoccernet.com can reveal.

The 24-year-old is expected to complete the technicalities by the close of the week before joining his new team-mates in pre-season preparations.

The Berekum Chelsea target has been on the books of the Mauves and Yellows for the past one season with head coach Bashri Hayford believed to be a huge admirer of the talented right-full back.

The former Asante Kotoko trainer wants to freshen up his squad ahead of this season and the potential acquisition of the player could help the Tarkwa-based side to realize their ambition of winning the Premier League crown.

Saka emerged as Aduana’s top scorer last season with seven goals.

He was also voted the most promising footballer of the 2009/2010 Ghana Premier League season.
