Medeama have announced a friendly against second-tier side Samartex FC on Saturday.
The Mauve and Yellows are fresh from the Ghana FA Super Cup triumph over Ashantigold and will use the low-profile friendly as a dress rehearsal ahead of the start of the new season.
Medeama beat the miners 1-0 to lift the coveted trophy in the capital and has been buoyed by that feat ahead of the Premier League.
The FA Cup holders will entertain the Ghanaian second-tier side at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park on Saturday.
Medeama open their 2015/16 Premier League campaign with a trip to Ashantigold on February 21.
