Medeama contacted Duncan, Dramani for coaching job
Medeama attempted to sign David Duncan

Medeama have revealed they made an audacious attempt to sign top Ghanaian coaches’ David Duncan and Mas-Ud Dramani before they settled on Roberto Carlos Paullete.

The Mauve and Yellows appointed the Peruvian last week to replace Ghana female Under-17 trainer Evans Augustine Adotey.

The Uefa license A coach has been tasked with the responsibility of transforming their fortunes in the top-tier and also help them to make a giants stride in their debut campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.

But the Tarkwa-based side revealed on Wednesday they attempted to sign sacked Hearts coach David Duncan and current Kotoko trainer Mas-Ud Dramani.

“It’s true that David Duncan and Mas-ud Dramani are the best coaches in Ghana and we tried to sign them,” Medeama management member Edmund Ackah told Happy FM

“We were aware of the Duncan situation at Hearts and so were monitoring. But I must admit that we wanted them to coach us.

“But we have settled on Paullete now and so we may have to look at that in the future.”
