Medeama have been boosted by the return of trio – Theophilus Anoobah, Kennedy Boateng and Foli Adade ahead of their CAF Confederation qualifier against Panthers FC.

The three players were among members of the Local Black Stars squad who won silver at the 2014 CHAN tournament in South Africa.

The three players have rejoined their colleagues in camp after arriving in the country on Monday night as they prepare for the first leg tie of the CAF Confederation Cup match against the Equatorial Guinean side this weekend.

Anoobah was a key member of the squad, while Boateng played a bit-part role as the West African managed a silver-winning feat.

Goalkeeper Foli Adade was an unused substitute during the three-week tournament.

The return of the experienced players will booster the squad ahead of the trip to Malabo for the first leg tie against Panthers on Sunday.
