Captain of Medeama SC Joseph Tetteh Zutah has hailed the influence of coach Hans Van der Pluijm on his playing career.

The defender was handed a first team debut by the Dutch trainer in the 2013 season before giving him the opportunity to taste greener pastures when he signed for Tanzanian giants Young Africans.

“Han Van der Plumj, I think I owe him a lot, he made me a better player, when he came to Medeama I was with the junior side but he brought be to the senior team,” the University of Cape Coast graduate told TBG in an interview.

“He gave me the opportunity to play even though there were some senior players in the team.

“He also took me to Young Africans in Tanzania and so I think he has helped me a lot and I owe him for his contribution in my career.”
