Medeama chief mad at attempts to frustrate his team's title hopes

Medeama Executive Vice-Chairman Albert Commey claims attempts are being made to frustrate his team's effort of  winning the Ghana Premier League crown this season.

The Tarkwa-based side are top of the League table, two points adrift of second-placed Berekum Chelsea.

The Mauves and Yellows have stuttered in the second half of the season where they have picked up a single point from a possible six.

The former Hearts Spokesperson claims some ‘unnamed’ persons have hatched a plan to derail their title ambitions.

“We know what we talking about and I’m warning all those involved to desist from it otherwise we’ll be forced to mention names,” Commey told Happy FM

“Some people are making serious effort to ensure we don’t win the League title. We’re not going to sit down to let that happen.

“We are not saying it’s automatic for us to win every game but this agenda of frustrating our effort won’t wash.”

“We’re all in this industry to ensure it goes well and so it’s very disheartening to see people make attempts to derail our chances.

Medeama have advance to the next stage of the Ghana MTN FA Cup after a hard-fought 5-4 penalty win at Wa All Stars.
