Medeama president Moses Armah has rejected accusations he masterminded physical attack on Kotoko National Circles chairman Kwaku Amponsah.

Amponsah, nicknamed, K-5, was physically manhandled by thugs believed to be Medeama supporters during the side’s 0-0 stalemate in a Ghana Premier League fixture on Sunday.

He was accused of holding black magic ' juju' to aid Kotoko's victory.

The man at the centre of the severe beatings, Amponsah, has accused Medeama president Moses Armah of instigating the attack on him.

But Moses Armah has rubbished the allegations, insisting he had no hand in his assault.

“It’s absolutely preposterous to accuse me of masterminding that act. I don’t even know him (Kwaku Amponsah),” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“The match commissioner was there and so they should find out from him.

“Opoku Nti (Kotoko General manager) was there and he was very happy. All the Kotoko officials who were there enjoyed themselves.

“There is no way that I will get myself involve in such dirty tricks. They should beat him for what? We had a wonderful game and people should let it stay that way.”

Striker Ahmed Toure spurned a last minute penalty which ensured the two teams shared the spoils in a highly entertaining game at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park.
