GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal that Medeama have agreed in principle with Asante Kotoko for the transfer of Mohammed Sabato.

Sabato has been frequently linked with a move to the Tarkwa-based side, but looked to be the subjet of bidding war between Medeama and Ashantigold.

But GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm that the Mauves and Yellows hold an advantage in the quest to land the player after they sold defender Kwabena Edusei to the Porcupine Warriors.

The Asante Kotoko defender struggled to find his feet last term where he was restricted to the substitute bench and will fancy a move to Medeama to revive his career.

Sabato will complete his move to the club after passing a medical.
