Medeama coach Augustine Adotey vows to silence Kotoko in FA Cup final
Medeama will play Kotoko on Sunday in Accra in the 2013 MTN FA Cup final.

Medeama coach Augustine Evans Adotey is promising an upset against Asante Kotoko in Sunday's MTN Ghana FA Cup final.

The Tarkwa-based side are chasing their first major silverware against the Ghana Premier League champions who are chasing a double.

Medeama were beaten by Hearts of Oak on 1 July in the President's Cup final at the same venue.

Adotey says his side have corrected their mistakes and ready to stun the Porcupine Warriors.

"Coming face to face in the MTN FA Cup final, Kotoko is saying they want to win the double but I want to prove Didi Dramani and the Kotoko guys wrong on Sunday so I'm urging all my fans to come in their numbers to cheer us to victory," Adotey said.

"Even in Accra, hint coming to me is that Hearts of Oak want Kotoko to fall so that they wouldn’t brag about winning a double so we have friends of Medeama backing us.

"I have respect for Kotoko and Coach Didi Dramani but I will frustrate them come Sunday and win the trophy."

Medeama finished third in the Ghana Premier League last season.
