Medeama coach Carlos Roberto Paullete hopes to complete the double over Zesco United in their CAF Confederation Cup return leg this weekend.
The Ghanaian side will take a healthy 2-0 lead from the first leg recorded at the Sekondi stadium on Sunday.
A goal in each half from Nathaniel Asamoah and Michael Helegbe ensured the debutant recorded their third successive home win in Africaââ¬â¢s inter-club competition.
However, Medeama fans are cautiously optimistic ahead of the reverse fixture due to the impressive performance from the visitors.
Zesco looked a well-organised side and created many decent chances of their own but failed to find the back of the net.
But Medema trainer Carlos Roberto Paullete is unfazed about the challenge confronting his side and says they will be seeking to complete the double over the Zambian side.
ââ¬ÅZesco played very well but donââ¬â¢t take anything away from my boys. They also showed their class,â⬠he told the club's official website.
ââ¬ÅWe know the second leg will be tough especially when weââ¬â¢re playing away from home.
ââ¬ÅBut we have scored in our last two away games and so Iââ¬â¢m hopeful we can get a goal there.
ââ¬ÅItââ¬â¢s not going to be a walk in the park for us but weââ¬â¢re very determined to go to the next qualifying stage.ââ¬
Medeama beat Panthers 2-1 in far away Equatorial Guinea before losing 2-1 at Moroccan side Maghreb de Fes.
