Medeama coach Bashir Hayford has hailed his team's fighting spirit in Sunday's Premier League draw with Liberty Professionals.

The Yellow and Mauves rallied from two goals down to snatch a vital point away at the Sly Tetteh Memorial Park to break into the top four.

Hayford, whose side have recovered from a jerky start, says his team showed a lot of fight in them and deserved the 2-2 draw.

"If you are two goals down and you come back to get a draw, that shows the fighting spirit of the team," the former Ghana Under-17 coach said.

"Coming away with a point from here is exactly what we wanted and we have achieved it."
