Medeama head coach Bashir Hayford is confident of maintaining their fine form in the season when they tackle Real Tamale United on Sunday.

The ambitious Tarkwa-based side have opened a three-point lead at the top of the table after a narrow 1-0 over Berekum Chelsea at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park on Wednesday.

Hayford who won the Premier League crown with Kotoko is relishing the prospect of achieving the same feat with the Mauves and Yellows.

“I have won the league once wih Kotoko and hope to win it again with Medeama,” Hayford told medeamasc.com

“With the kind of players we have and a little push from management, the team can conquer Ghana for once.

“We are not getting complacent but taken it match after match. I believe we’ll attain our dream.”
