Medeama coach Tom Marcus Strand arrived in Ghana last night to intensify the pre-season preparations of the club, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The Swedish took a well-deserved break after guiding the Mauve and Yellows to their second FA Cup title in August this year.

The 32-year-old was on the verge of signing for Hearts but the deal fell through over financial disagreements.

It was widely speculated that the Swedish will not return to Tarkwah after taking some time off to visit his family in his native country.

But the exciting coach landed at the Kotoka International airport with KLM Royal Dutch airline (9pm) local time on Saturday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

He is expected to supervise the team’s pre-season training which started last week.
