Medeama have confirmed midfielder Kwasi Donsu won't join any local club.

Donsu, 21, has emerged as a transfer target for giants Kotoko and Hearts following an exhilarating season with the Tarkwa-based side.

But the club has moved to water down on the mounting reports, insisting the highly-rated midfielder will not be available for any local club.

"Donsu is committed to Medeama and we are also not having any intention to sell him so I will advise all the Clubs who are chasing for his services to stop wasting their previous time because he will not be sold to any local club this season," club spokesman Patrick Akoto is quoted by Cape Coast-based ATL FM

"We don't have any intention of selling him to any local club. In transfer matters, anything is possible but we're not thinking in the direction of a local club.

"There are multiple offers for him and we're weighing the best option."

Donsu won the best player in the 2015 MTN FA Cup.

The intelligent midfielder scored 15 goals, 10 through free kicks last season.
