Medeama defender Amos Korankye has issued a groveling apology to the club for going AWOL, but the club says it will sanction him.
The Mauve and Yellows were left shocked after the right-back left without permission.
The club has frozen him out of the team for his unprofessional conduct.
But the former Hasaacas defender has written an apology to the club.
"I humbly write to your respectable office to apologise for my actions exhibited a fortnight ago,” part of the letter read
“I left camp without your consent though there were pressing issues at home which needed my attention but I should have known better.
“I promise your outfit not to do it again.
“Hoping my apology will be considered.”
The club further tweeted:
The club has accepted the apology of Amos Korankye who went AWOL.However, the defender will be sanctioned for breaking club code of ethics. pic.twitter.com/E04tEZxSOt
