Medeama defender Joseph Jackson has been ruled out of action for two weeks with an ankle injury, the club confirmed on Friday.

The left-back picked up an ankle sprain during the side’s hard-fought 2-1 win over Hearts of Oak in an outstanding First Capital Plus Premier League on Wednesday.

Doctors have confirmed he will be unavailable for the next two weeks.

“Joseph Jackson picked up an ankle sprain during the game against Hearts and will be out for two weeks,” a club statement read

“We wish him and hope he returns in good health to augment the effort of his colleagues.”

He will miss Sunday’s home game against rocked-bottom Ebusua Dwarfs.
