Medeama defender Seth Owusu is heading out for trials at Belgian outfit Charleroi, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.
The highly-rated defender is currently in Accra to acquire his visa ahead of the trip to the European country.
The 21-year-old impressed heavily for the Mauves and Yellows last term and caught the eyes of officials of the newly appointed Belgian à Jupiler League side
ââ¬ÅI am sorting out my visa issues and hopefully I should get the necessary document by the close of next week,â⬠Owusu told GHANAsoccernet.com
ââ¬ÅI want to go and attempt to secure a deal with the club. It is the dream of every player to play in Europe and thatââ¬â¢s where I have set my eyes on."
The experienced defender enjoyed a six-month loan deal at American top flight side Chivas but failed to tie down a permanent deal with the MLS side due to recurrent injury.
