Medeama defender Seth Owusu is heading out for trials at Belgian outfit Charleroi, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The highly-rated defender is currently in Accra to acquire his visa ahead of the trip to the European country.

The 21-year-old impressed heavily for the Mauves and Yellows last term and caught the eyes of officials of the newly appointed Belgian  Jupiler League side

“I am sorting out my visa issues and hopefully I should get the necessary document by the close of next week,” Owusu told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I want to go and attempt to secure a deal with the club. It is the dream of every player to play in Europe and that’s where I have set my eyes on."

The experienced defender enjoyed a six-month loan deal at American top flight side Chivas but failed to tie down a permanent deal with the MLS side due to recurrent injury.
