Medeama have rubbished widespread claims midfielder Kwame Boahene will undergo a two-week trial session with Kaizer Chiefs.

Multiple media reports claimed on Friday that the dribbling magician has been handed a two-week trial by the South African outfit.

But the club's spokesman Patrick Akoto has rubbished the claims.

"It's not true," he said in reference to the reported trial. 'It's only a conjecture.

"Kaizer Chiefs have not approached us regarding Kwame. There is nothing like a trial session on the cards for us.

"He (Kwame Boahene) has got some offers we're looking at but nothing concrete yet.

"Those trial session reports with Kazier Chiefs must be disregarded.

He added: Of course if they come forward, we'll look at it. But as we speak no one has spoken to us. It's mere speculation."
