Medeama goalkeeper Halm rushed to hospital after collapsing on the pitch

Medeama goalkeeper Joseph Halm is in a critical condition after collapsing on the pitch during his side’s Premier League tie at Real Tamale United.

The former Tema Youth glovesman collapsed on the pitch after he collided with Real Tamale United attacker Isaac Neequaye in the 35th minute.

Paramedics failed to resuscitate him on the pitch and had to transport him in an ambulance to the Tamale Teaching hospital for further assessment.

The youngster had been impressive for the Mauves and Yellows in post until the unfortunate incident occurred.

The Tarkwa-based side are currently leading 1-0 courtesy Kabiru Moro's strike on the 48th minute mark.
