Medeama goalkeeper Michael Sai undergoing a trial at German side Eintracht Frankfurt - report

Published on: 03 November 2016

Medeama goalkeeper Michael Sai is started a three-week trial session with German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt, footballghana have reported.

Sai, 21, is seeking an European adventure after he fell off the perking order at the Ghanaian side.

The former Berekum Chelsea last line of defensed dropped to third after the arrival of Daniel Agyei, who dislodged long-standing number one Muntari Tagoe.

He will be hoping to convince Frankfurt of his qualities to win a professional contract.

If the German outfit decide to sign him, he will be farmed out on loan to a smaller club to continue his development.

The Ghanaian was voted the Best Goalkeeper during the 2011 FA Cup where he helped second-tier side Nania FC to clinch the title at the expense of giants Asante Kotoko.

Sai was a member of Ghana's Under-20 bronze winning squad during the 2013 World Youth Championship in Turkey.
