New signing Bernard Ofori bagged a sensational brace for Medeama in their 3-0 win over second-tier side Karela FC on Wednesday.
Ofori, who joined from New Edubiase, has hit the ground running with five goals in two games for the Mauve and Yellows.
Francis Addo scored the other goal as Medeama recorded the emphatic win at the Essipong stadium in Sekondi.
The win will serve as real boost to the side ahead of Sunday's Super Cup clash against Ashantigold.
Coach Tom Strand and captain Muntari Tagoe arrived in Sekondi on time to watch the game after participating in the press launch of the Cup match earlier on Wednesday.
