Medeama are holding out a training session at the Lizzy Sports Complex in Accra following their delayed trip to South Africa.

'Reformed' coach Tom Strand is leading his charges as he begins the process of mapping out a strategy to outwit the newly-crowned South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Confedertaion Cup play-off tie on Saturday

The two-time Ghanaian champions are finally expected to travel to South Africa on Thursday evening ahead of the first leg fixture.

Visa hitches delayed their trip on Wednesday night and should get all clear to travel tonight on board South African Airways.

Medeama faces a daunting task to progress to the group stage against a side which scored 53 goals in 28 matches and lost only three times to win the South African PSL title.

Sundowns are also unbeaten in 20 matches with a game left to spare.

However, the ambitious Ghanaian side are unfazed by the humongous hurdle, vowing to qualify at the expense of their opponent.
