Medeama have vehemently denied selling Richard Mpong to Asante Kotoko.
The Premier League Champions claimed on Monday that they had signed the promising winger after agreeing a deal with the Mauves and Yellows.
But the Tarkwa-based side has refuted the claims and insists the 22-year-old remains their bonafied property.
“We would like to place on record that Medeama have not sold Richard Mpong to Asante Kotoko or any other club for that matter,†Vice president Albert Commey told medeamasc.com
“We are in negotiations with many clubs and have not reached an agreement with any of them and so Mpong remais our player,â€
“If at suh point that we agree any deal with any club, the supporters will be duly informed accordinghly.â€
